What We Do

Locharbriggs Cold Store Ltd provides a multi-unit frozen, chilled and dry storage service from a first class facility in Dumfriesshire, southern Scotland. As part of Browns Food Group, we work closely with our sister companies Mostell Logistics, Tilbury Transport and Tilbury Cold Store to provide a seamless frozen and chilled storage and distribution service nationwide. Our storage facilities have access to a large fleet of refrigerated articulated vehicles as well as a full range of rigid vehicles and sprinter vans for smaller deliveries. In addition we have Scottish depots in Lanarkshire, Ayrshire and Lothian along with English depots in Lancashire and Essex.

A comprehensive storage service

Our large multi-unit site includes 5000 pallets of frozen storage space, as well as dedicated chilled and significant dry storage capacity that can cover abnormal loads and oversized items. We offer a wide range of services and take pride in providing solutions that are specific to our customer’s needs. Our cold store is fully equipped with the latest racking and handling equipment and temperature control systems ensuring effective and safe storage of products. All units have dedicated marshalling areas and dock levelled bays for quick and efficient loading and unloading. Services available include:
